As a function of Henderson County government, Apple Country Public Transit is making a concerted effort to quell the spreading of COVID-19 while continuing to offer a critical community service. Until further notice, the following policies apply to all services of ACPT:

• Face masks are required. Masks must cover mouth and nose. Children under age 5 and people who have a medical or behavioral condition or disability are exempt from this mandate.*
• Riders should practice "social distancing" and spread out on the bus when possible.
• Riders should limit their travel to essential trips if possible.
• Riders who have traveled a full route rotation without leaving must exit the bus at the transfer station or pay for a second trip.
