The Athletics and Activitiy Center Gym & Dance Room will be closed from Monday, 3/24/25 through Friday, 3/28/25 while it is being used as a shelter for those affected by the wild fires. Further closings may be needed.

All classroom reservations are as scheduled. We will hope to return to normal as soon as possible.

Henderson County Four Seasons Senior Games and Silver Arts

Registration Dates: February 1 - March 15 >>Register Here<<

Four Seasons Senior Games/SilverArts is organized by Henderson County Parks and Recreation and is sanctioned through NC Senior Games. Participants across the State of NC enjoy participating in the LOCAL SENIOR GAMES. Those that qualify at their Local Games are invited to attend STATE FINALS in the fall. Every two years, State Finals winners can qualify to represent North Carolina at the NATIONAL SENIOR GAMES.

Wednesday 12 - Senior Games Registration at the Veterans Service Building (VFW beside Edwards Park) between 11:30-1:00. Must bring ID and debit or credit card. Please RSVP for lunch by March 5th. You can call 828-697-4884 or email recreation@hendersoncountync.gov. This is for any Henderson County resident 50+ who needs assistance registering for our Local Senior Games/Silver Arts.
