GIS (Geographic Information Systems) is a division of the IT (Information Technology) department. The GIS division provides software, training, data development, application development and technical support to the county departments.

How do I use the Oblique Aerial View?

  1. Navigate to an area of interest.
  2. Click the Oblique Aerial View tool so that it is highlighted red.
  3. Click a location on the map to see oblique aerial images for that area. This opens the 'Pictometry View' window.
  4. Once in Pictometry View, use these tools to navigate the system:
    • On the directional circle in the upper-left, click the arrows to change the compass angle of the image.
    • Click the dot below the directional circle to change to vertical view. (i.e. directly above)

Real Property Data Download Page (Excel / Text Files)

This page allows you to download Henderson County's tax parcels, buildings, and sales data. The TXT format can be read in Excel, Access, or other database/spreadsheet applications.
