How to Apply for Disaster Relief
You can apply for disaster assistance at the County's Disaster Recovery Center (DRC) or online at www.disasterassistance.gov. The deadline to apply for FEMA assistance is Monday, April 7.
If you have applied for FEMA assistance and have been denied, you can still appeal the decision. There's currently no deadline for appeals submissions.
FEMA Extends Transitional Housing Assistance Program (TSA)
FEMA is granting additional time for Helene survivors to stay in short-term, emergency sheltering in hotels and motels.
