The Henderson County Sheriff’s Office 911 Center has partnered with Nixle to implement a Community Notification System that will alert residents in real-time for localized emergency situations and relevant community advisories. Nixle allows the 911 Center staff to send important and valuable public safety and community information directly to residents who subscribe to the free service. Residents can customize their account and decide if the information is delivered via text message, email, or over the web. Signing up is easy. Residents can visit www.hendersonsheriff.org and click on the Nixle link or text your zip code to 888777 from your mobile phone.
