Auxiliary Detention Food Services Specialist
Henderson County Sheriff’s Office
(Less thank 1,000 hours in a 12-month period - Not benefit-eligible)

Duties and Responsibilities:  This position performs responsible routine cooking duties in the Henderson County Detention Facility. (Duties listed below)

• Prepares and serves regular and/or special diet items for inmates. (No prior cooking experience required)
• Cleans Kitchen surfaces and equipment daily.
• Assists with the inventory of supplies and food.
• Accepts and verifies deliveries.
• Manages stock.
• Additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:  No education/experience is required. 

Pre-employment drug test and background checks required of finalist applicants.
