Grants Administrator (Project)
Duties and Responsibilities: This position collaborates with departments and key stakeholders with grant procurement, implementation, and reporting; Performs grants administration to ensure compliance with regulatory, funding agency, and policy requirements. This position also performs high-level professional work related to research, planning, implementation, contracts and grant monitoring, reporting, compliance, and other related tasks; performs related work as required. Work is performed under regular supervision. This position reports to the Financial Services Director.
Qualifications: Requires specialized technical or mid-level professional work and understanding of operating policies and procedures; application of specialized technical or professional principles and practices or the use of a wide range of administrative methods; knowledge of principles of grant administration, grant accounting and budgeting with experience in managing and supervising administrative projects; knowledge of funding sources and associated federal and state requirements and regulations, including budget not limited to procurement, compliance, reporting, and auditing; federal requirements include 2 Code of Federal Regulations 200 – Uniform Administration Requirements, Cost Principles, and Audit Requirements for Federal Awards. Demonstrated intermediate to advanced skill and competency with Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel. Ability to effectively apply general accounting principles to complex, specific situations; ability to perform financial analysis and interpretation; ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing; general knowledge of the application of established accounting principles and practices to standard accounting transactions; general knowledge of established governmental and departmental accounting practices and procedures; general knowledge of modern office policies and procedures; ability to operate common office machines and computer required by the position; ability to type with accuracy at the speed required by the position; ability to keep accurate records and prepare reports; ability to attend work regularly.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in accounting, finance, or public or business administration or related field, plus 2 years of job-related experience in accounting or finance; OR an equivalent combination of related education and experience.

Salary Range: $62,892.18 - $127,291.73
Pay Grade: 81A
Hiring salary will be determined based on qualifications and internal equity.
