STATE OF NORTH CAROLINA CANE CREEK WATER & SEWER DISTRICT

COUNTY OF HENDERSON MARCH 15, 2000

The Cane Creek Water and Sewer District Board met for a regularly scheduled meeting at 9:00 a.m. in the Commissioners= Meeting Room of the Henderson County Office Building.

Those present were: Chairman Grady Hawkins, Vice-Chair Bill Moyer, Commissioner Renee Kumor, Commissioner Don Ward, Commissioner Marilyn Gordon, County Manager David E. Nicholson, Assistant County Manager/Interim County Attorney Angela S. Beeker, and Clerk to the Board Elizabeth W. Corn.

MINUTES

Minutes were presented for the Board=s review and approval of the December 6, 1999 meeting. Chairman Hawkins made the motion to approve the minutes as presented. All voted in favor and the motion carried.

RESOLUTIONS

Chairman Hawkins reminded the Board of two resolutions the Board had been given and reviewed in the workshop on March 10. One related to Minority Business Participation, the second was to help secure a grant to aid in the construction of the Mills River Interceptor. A copy of those two resolutions is attached as a part of these minutes.

Chairman Hawkins made the motion to adopt the two resolutions as presented. All voted in favor and the motion carried.
