STATE OF NORTH CAROLINA BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS

COUNTY OF HENDERSON FEBRUARY 17, 2010

The Henderson County Board of Commissioners met for a special called meeting at 4:00 p.m. in the Commissioners' Meeting Room of the Historic Courthouse on Main Street, Hendersonville.

Those present were: Chairman Bill Moyer, Vice-Chairman Mark Williams, Commissioner Larry Young, Commissioner Charlie Messer, County Manager Steve Wyatt, Assistant County Manager Selena Coffey, County Attorney Russ Burrell and Clerk to the Board Teresa L. Wilson.

Absent was: Commissioner Chuck McGrady

CALL TO ORDER/WELCOME

Chairman Moyer called the meeting to order and stated the purpose of the special called meeting is a closed session for purposes of economic development.

CLOSED SESSION

Commissioner Young made the motion for the Board to go into closed session as allowed pursuant to NCGS 143-318.11 for the following reason(s):

1. (a)(4), to discuss matters relating to the location or expansion of industries or other businesses in the area served by the public body.

All voted in favor and the motion carried.

ADJOURN

Commissioner Young made the motion that the Board go out of Closed Session and further motioned that the Board adjourn at 4:50p.m. All voted in favor and the motion carried.
