STATE OF NORTH CAROLINA BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS

COUNTY OF HENDERSON OCTOBER 12, 2005

The Henderson County Board of Commissioners met for a special called meeting at 6:00 p.m. in the Commissioners' Conference Room of the Henderson County Office Building.

Those present were: Chairman Bill Moyer, Vice-Chairman Charlie Messer, Commissioner Larry Young, Commissioner Shannon Baldwin, Commissioner Chuck McGrady, Assistant County Manager Justin Hembree, County Attorney Russell Burrell, and Deputy Clerk to the Board Amy Brantley.

CALL TO ORDER/WELCOME

Chairman Moyer called the meeting to order and welcomed all in attendance.

CLOSED SESSION

Chairman Moyer made the motion to go into Closed Session for reasons of protection of attorney-client privilege, to discuss location or expansion of industry or business, and regarding acquisition of real property, all as set out more fully in the Board’s agenda materials.

All voted in favor and the motion carried.

Adjourn

Following Closed Session, Commissioner McGrady made the motion to adjourn the meeting at 7:15. All voted in favor and the motion carried.
